Last year (2008), we hosted the first annual STANDARDBRED SHOWCASE –a show to promote the non-racing use of Standardbred horses. The show was a great success. In fact, we decided that Standardbred Showcase, with it’s trade fair, would likely outgrow the facilities here at the farm and the 2009 Showcase will take place at Grand River Raceway in Elora on August 2nd.  (see links).

In 2009, we will again host a STANDARDBRED SHOW here Sunday, June 28th (minus the trade fair).  Points earned at this show will count towards the ONTARIO STANDARDBRED SHOW SERIES YEAR END AWARDS which will be presented at a banquet on Sunday November 1st. For our CARRIAGE DRIVING  friends, we will also host a DRESSAGE & CONES SHOW on Sunday August 23rd. . This show will have offer Training and Preliminary level competition as well as an Introductory Division (Training level) for first year competitors. All breeds are welcome.
